  • 1 pound (450g) pasta (your choice)
  • 190 gr (1 cup) Terra Surti Sicilian red pesto
  • 50gr (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan cheese
  • 30 gr (1/4 cup) pine nuts or almonds (optional)
  • 150 gr (2/3 cup)Ricotta cheese (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
  • toasted breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • Terra Surti extra virgin olive oil
  1. Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Terra Surti Sicilian red pesto and stir until warm.
  3. Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat with the pesto. If needed, add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
  4. Optional You can decide to add some ricotta cheese in your pan to make it creamier and tastier!
  5. Transfer the pasta to serving plates. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and pine nuts and some toasted breadcrumbs
  6. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
