Experience the vibrant flavors of our Pasta with Sicilian Pesto—a taste of Sicily that will transport you with every bite!
Ingredients:
- 1 pound (450g) pasta (your choice)
- 190 gr (1 cup) Terra Surti Sicilian red pesto
- 50gr (1/2 cup) of grated Parmesan cheese
- 30 gr (1/4 cup) pine nuts or almonds (optional)
- 150 gr (2/3 cup)Ricotta cheese (optional)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh basil leaves (for garnish)
- toasted breadcrumbs
- Salt
- Terra Surti extra virgin olive oil
- Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large pan, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the Terra Surti Sicilian red pesto and stir until warm.
- Add the cooked pasta to the pan and toss to coat with the pesto. If needed, add a splash of pasta water to loosen the sauce.
- Optional You can decide to add some ricotta cheese in your pan to make it creamier and tastier!
- Transfer the pasta to serving plates. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese and pine nuts and some toasted breadcrumbs
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
