Walk through the olive groves with an in-depth introduction on olive cultivation, different cultivars and harvesting and production methods. Guests can take part in the olive harvest using traditional tools or, if they prefer, assist in the harvesting. Visit to the mill and its processing machinery, active participation to the extravirgin olive oil production stages. Tasting with typical Sicilian products and condiments.
Tasting among the olive trees (standing): pure and flavoured olive oil with typical Sicilian bread, olives, seasoned cheese, typical seasoned sausage, bruschetta with typical pâtés, pizzolo traditionally filled, ricotta cheese and honey.
Drinks: still/sparkling water and 1 glass of white/red wine per person.
Recommended clothing: comfortable clothing, appropriate footwear to walk around the olive groves and a hat to protect yourself from the sun in the hottest months.
Availability: every day from the end of September until the end of November, the period in which the olive harvesting take place.
